Grade 5 Jawbone Marine Sanctuary Excursion

5C and 5D went to the Jawbone Marine Sanctuary in Williamstown. The students participated in various workshops run by experienced facilitators who are part of the Jawbone Marine Sanctuary group and Parks Victoria.

The workshops will support and enhance our Faith Life Inquiry Learning for the term, which will focus on the structural features and adaptations of living things and will also provide an opportunity for the students to analyse the cause and effect relationships between the survival of living things and the environment.

During the workshops, students walked out to the Jawbone viewing platform, touched and observed marine specimens, explored along the beach and examined different species.
